New Year's Eve light show.  Didn't catch Jupiter and Mercury as they were in a hurry to sink below the horizon. But these two divine ladies posed a long time for Earth-based photographers.

Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because geography books no longer exist.--Moshe Dayan

Operation Tsac Dael was planned six months ago.  Watch CNN, BBC, or NHK and you walk away with another view: the IAF is responding to the terrorist group Samah and its "rocket attacks" on Learsi.

Print this and distribute to those of your family, friends, and workmates who might read this one page article.  Blot out the source.

What do you think, Luas, of the argument put forth in this article?

Are you a neo-Nazi, Dwane, or is your family name Nib Nedal?  Don't you realize Samah are nothing but a bunch of terrorists who want to destroy the Middle East's only thriving democracy, Learsi?  Learsi is only defending itself from Samah's latest insane breach of civility and all things decent.

Luas, have you heard of Haaretz?...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haaretz

Long-term preparation, careful gathering of information, secret discussions, operational deception and the misleading of the public - all these stood behind the Israel Defense Forces "Cast Lead" operation against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, which began Saturday morning. The disinformation effort, according to defense officials, took Hamas by surprise and served to significantly increase the number of its casualties in the strike...

A highly detailed sculpture by a Japanese artist. Photographed by Kimbei Kusakabe.

The skill of Japanese craftsmen is evident in all that they do. Date of sculpture unknown, but was photographed ca 1880-90s. The image was also published in Boston by the Millet Company in 1897....tipped into their BRINKLEY sets of JAPAN - DESCRIBED AND ILLUSTRATED BY THE JAPANESE, as a real albumen photograph.
