Just because we moderns react negatively to the word "draconian" doesn't necessarily mean our connotation is sacrosanct. Once you Enter the Dragon, there is no escape until death do us part.

The ceiling of the major building in the Temple of Heaven complex, Beijing. It appears to have been freshly painted shortly before our visit as it was bright and stunning. The Temple of Heaven, literally the Altar of Heaven in traditional Chinese. Construction of the complex began in 1420, and was thereafter visited by all subsequent Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, seen above, is a magnificent triple-gabled circular building, built on three levels of marble stone base, where the Emperor prayed for good harvests. The Temple of Heaven was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is 32m in diameter and 38m tall. It has four inner, 12 middle and 12 outer pillars, representing the four seasons, 12 months and 12 traditional Chinese hours respectively. A wooden building, it was built without a single nail.
The ceiling of the Chinese Cultural Center in Calgary resembles the one at the Temple of Heaven (Forbidden City, China)

Six is the number of the world. It is also a couple of copulating triangles. Life is a mostly unacknowledged giant fuckfest. Six doesn't sound like sex for nothing. 666 is the physical sun. It is male, power hungry, wealthy and without the balancing influence of 1,080, the power of luna, it is totalitarian. No wonder the Illuminati worship 666. You don't have to study Freud to know that sex, sex, sex is always on man's mind. Bring art, fun, harmony, and balance back to life: Viva Khajuraho!

Stupas of the borobodur temple with two big volcanoes in the background (the right one is the Merapi, most active volcanoe in Indonesia). This shot near Yogyakarta was taken at sunrise...
The stupas belong to the great and impressive Borobudur temple.
EDIT: corrected the levels and the orientation; label and big frame removed

This morning I got a wakeup call at 3:30 AM to head out on a distant trek to Borobudur to climb the temple before sunrise. I had a flashlight and a fully loaded iPod for the ascent. I stayed at the top and all around the temple for most of the morning, collecting shots here and there as misty clouds rolled in, through, around, and over the temple.
This temple laid abandoned and overgrown for about 800 years until it was rediscovered by the British.
You can see the volcano Merapi in the distance.
Borobudur (a Buddhist temple) with Merapi volcano in the background. Borobudur is in the north-west of Yogyakarta in Java, Indonesia. It's one of the largest temples in the world.
